Woodland House is a small home that we radically transformed. Through opening up the living room, converting the empty attic into a master retreat, adding a custom staircase, hidden European laundry and introducing new furniture, the space became a functional, family home for a couple and their two kids.

The moss modular sofa in the downstairs lounge room was a perfect solution for this growing family, who required durability to withstand growing kids and a dog and also versatility to be reconfigured when hosting guests.

What used to be an empty roof space, transformed into the master retreat they had always dreamed of. The new space is a modest light-filled master bedroom with a beautiful ensuite. It now includes a built-in desk, innovative joinery solutions and an abundance of natural light which floods through the new skylights. Using blush pink, lilac and sage greens throughout, we feel as though each space captures the serenity and palette of a garden in spring.
